There are multiple reasons that cause osteoarthritis. The main three factors are trauma, obesity and heredity. But the proper etiology of osteoarthritis is unknown.
The risk Factors of Osteoarthritis are as follows:
• People of age 50 and above have high chance to get affected by osteoarthritis.
• Extended work pressure or sports activities
• Rapid increase in bone mineral density
• Joint injury
• Infection in joint, fluid and cartilage
• Peripheral neuropathy
• Excessive stress in joints
Other than these causes there are few more factors like Post-traumatic, Rheumatic diseases, Endocrine and Calcium deposition.
